Commercial Christmas Decorations
Hire the whole Christmas instead of buying it. We design it, deliver it, install it, and in January we come and take it away again — so nothing ends up in a stockroom for eleven months. 140 props across 12 aisles, 12 ready-made display scenes, and 57 years of doing this for businesses that only get one shot at December.
Why commercial venues hire rather than buy
Commercial Christmas decorations are not domestic decorations in a bigger box. They have to read from across a car park, survive a six-week trading period being brushed past by thousands of people, look deliberate rather than accidental, and then disappear cleanly on the first working day of January.
Buying that outright means paying for it once and then paying for it again every year in storage, handling, breakages, ladders, staff time and the slow drift of a scheme that looked new in 2019. Hiring means the scheme is current, someone else owns the ladders, and the cost sits in one budget line in the right financial year.
- No storage — it arrives in November and leaves in January.
- No ladder work for your staff, and no staff rota built around putting a tree up.
- A different scheme next year if you want one, without writing off last year’s.
- One quote covering design, delivery, installation and collection.
What we dress
Different rooms, different problems. The kit is the same catalogue; what changes is scale, sightlines and how close the public get to it.
Shops & high street
Window schemes and a doorway piece that stops the pavement. Backdrops, snow-clad trees and one showpiece that photographs well.
Shopping centres
Centrepieces, mall dressing, photo points and a grotto that handles a queue. Big enough to hold a concourse, tidy enough to clean around.
Offices & workplaces
Reception and atrium schemes that look considered rather than tinselly. See our office Christmas decorations guide.
Pubs, bars & restaurants
Evening trade, warm light, and props built to be walked past all night. Party-season staging rather than family staging.
Garden centres & attractions
The full ticketed experience — walk-through or drive-thru grottos, light trails and animated figures.
Councils, markets & community
Switch-on events, market dressing, stages and street-scale props that go up fast and come down faster.
Commercial props that do the heavy lifting
The pieces businesses come back for. Add anything to your list and we quote the lot together.
How commercial Christmas decoration hire works
Four steps, one quote, one team.
-
Tell us the space and the dates
Photos, a floor plan or a rough description. We need to know how the public move through it and when you need it live.
-
We put a scheme together
Built from real props you can look at, not a mood board. Add what you like to My List and we work from that.
-
We deliver and install
Our own team, anywhere in the UK. You get a dressed venue, not a pile of boxes.
-
We collect in January
Everything goes back on our van and into our warehouse. Nothing to store, nothing to bin.
When to book
Christmas is the one deadline that will not move. Big brands and attractions book large installations nine to twelve months ahead. Medium-sized retailers usually land two to six months ahead. Smaller shops and venues can often be handled six to eight weeks ahead.
It becomes genuinely too late somewhere around seven to ten days before Black Friday. Every year somebody finds that out the hard way, and every year it is the same phone call.
Common questions
Do you install commercial Christmas decorations, or just deliver them?
We install. Everything is delivered, installed and collected again by our own team, anywhere in the UK. When January comes we take it all away, so there is no storage and no ladder work for your staff.
How much do commercial Christmas decorations cost to hire?
Many props publish their hire rates on their own product page — typically a three-day, seven-day and six-week rate. Larger props and full installations are quoted against your space and your dates, so add everything you are interested in to My List and we come back with one quote for the lot.
Can you design the scheme as well as supply it?
Yes. We are prop people first, so a scheme is built from real pieces we actually own rather than a catalogue we hope to source. You can see our finished schemes on the displays page.
Do you work outside the North West?
Yes — we deliver and install anywhere in the UK. We are based in Wigan, so the North West, Merseyside, Lancashire, Yorkshire, the Midlands and North Wales are simply the places we can get to fastest.
What happens to the decorations in January?
We come and take them down and take them away. That is the part of hire that people underrate: the taking-down is somebody else’s job.
