About this prop
A 6ft wooden see-saw with a plush reindeer sitting at each end, animated so that one reindeer rises as the other dips. The movement is slow and continuous rather than sudden, which is what makes people stop and watch it rather than walk past.
Two plush reindeer sit either end of a 6ft wooden see-saw, and the see-saw moves: one reindeer rises as the other dips, slowly and steadily, all day long.
It is the kind of prop people stop and watch, so it earns its place at the front of a grotto queue, in a window, or anywhere families gather. A 240V supply is needed at the installation point.
Where it works
- Santa's grottos Something for children to watch while they queue, and an easy photo stop on the way in or out.
- Shopping centres Movement pulls the eye from much further down a mall than a static prop does.
- Garden centres Set it in a snow scene with trees behind it so the reindeer read as part of a woodland.
- Shop windows A repeating movement behind glass gives passers-by a reason to stop on the pavement.
Common questions
Does it need power?
Yes. The animation runs from a standard 240V supply, so we need a socket within reach of where the see-saw stands.
How big is it?
The see-saw is 6ft long, with a reindeer seated at each end. Tell us the space you have in mind and we will tell you whether it fits.
Can it go outdoors?
Tell us the space and we will advise. Placement depends on the venue and on how the power can be run safely, so send your details with your enquiry.
Is it installed for us?
Yes. We deliver, install and collect the prop ourselves, so there is nothing for your team to build or store.
